It was so lovely working with Jen and Adam! It was fun adding all the nautical touches and learning about Coast Guard lingo while designing their wedding day event. Jen looked beautiful on her wedding day and Adam so dapper. Together they radiated love and happiness and we were so happy to have been part of their special day. Wishing Jen and Adam a very happy 1st wedding anniversary.

This past Saturday we set up in the newly remodel Empress Banquets (Addison, Il) for Eftychia and Steve’s wedding. The room is beautiful with lots of crystal lighting and light grey walls trimmed in white making it a great empty canvas. We used lots of crystal decor to go along with the room but incorporated Eftychia’s vision of bright Spring flowers. The contrast was so pretty. The arrangements and look of the room was very clean, simple and elegant. We used silver a a deep sparkly blue for the invitations and carried that look over to the wedding day details-wedding programs, bouquets and favors.
Happy Mother’s Day!!! Without the intense support and guidance my mother gave me, I know I wouldn’t be half the woman I am today and I am grateful for the love she gives me. I am extremely lucky to have the best business partner in the world-my mom! Without the help, support, unconditional love and all the great floral decor she does, Limani Designs would not exist. Chicago Wedding at the Ritz-Carlton A Four Seasons Hotel
Anli and Ji’s soft and romantic music inspired wedding celebration was brought to life in an intimate setting in front of their closest and dearest friends and family. The soft colors and textures used throughout the wedding were inspired by Anli’s fabulous wedding dress and shoes and their mutual love for classical music tied it together like a sweet medley.
The loving couple created their own invitations by using vintage vinyl records and creating their signature monogram along with their beloved city skyline of Chicago in the background. When guests arrived to the wedding they were greeted with an escort card table filled with a vintage styled record player adorn with flowers and the couples wedding invitation on the record player. Vinyl records were framed so guests were able to write on the records their well wishes to the happy couple. The couple was married between two six foot metal trees filled with Manzanita branches, hanging crystals and roses and aisle full of branches, floating orchids and twinkling candlelight.
After the ceremony, guests were escorted to the large koi fish filled pond found in the Ritz-Carlton. The red and peach paper lanterns as well as the hanging white orchids, all symbols of good luck in the Chinese culture, were placed around the terrace where a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony was held. Anli changed into a red dress her mom brought for her from China and wore another pair of fabulous shoes. Their good friend, and one of their bridesmaids, provided the beautiful tea set that was used for the service. Both Anli and Ji kneeled in front of their parents on beautiful gold silk pillows embellished with peach blossoms. The reception room was transformed with lots of vintage sheet music framed throughout the room including the music note shaped pasta filled cones for guests to take home with them at the end of the night. Ji played a song on the grand piano found in the room that brought Anli to tears-happy tears of course. The celebration went well into the late night and was completed by a late night chocolate buffet!
